Pongo is this week's 's adoption spotlight!🐶

A bit about Pongo:
"Pongo is the sweetest and silliest little boy! He is cautious at times but warms up quickly. He is a happy puppy who loves all the pets by both little people and adults. He plays well with the resident dogs and is content living side by side the two resident cats. Pongo does great in his kennel, is food motivated, and likes his toys. He does well in a crate and is working on his house training. He adores praise and wants to please his people! Continued socialization and an active home will best suit him. He has soooo much love to give and is certain to be a great addition to an active home looking for a happy, playful loving pup."

We know that sweet face is persuasive, but a few common holiday favorites are actually highly toxic to pets! Please be mindful of what might accidentally slip off the table:
🍫Chocolate/Baking Items: Even small amounts of dark chocolate or cocoa powder are dangerous.
🫑Onions, Garlic, Chives: These common spices can damage red blood cells.
🍇Grapes & Raisins: Even a few can cause kidney failure.
🦴Cooked Bones: They can splinter and cause serious internal damage or blockages.

Keep your furry friend safe and happy this holiday season by sticking to their regular diet or approved pet-safe treats!
