What another great day for our pups. We rescued Ms. Sugar for one of our prior adopters, the timing wasn't quite right as they had a extended vacation coming up, but she was exactly what they were looking for and Sugar needed a new family. Thanks to Kelly and sister Kim for opening their hearts and home and taking great care of Sugar until she could go to her new family.

We couldn't ask for a better family, Sugar is our 3 adopted dog they have taken in from us. We are so blessed and thankful that they trust us and keep coming back for us to find them their next pup. What a great compliment, we are humbled and thankful Rich and Joan

Hazel is their chocolate lab, she came to us with just having puppies, she is such a great dog..and now she has a new sibling and wow it was so amazing the connection already made.. they have so many similar behaviors❤️❤️

We are so thrilled our 2nd of 4 pups found his forever family tonight, happy adoption day Gus❤️
He really hit the jackpot, he has new fur sibling her name is Bailey, she is such a sweet girl. We even had some tail wags with Gus. He even has a bunny friend he met too. He also has 4 kiddos he gets to run and play with, which will exhaust them all. Thank you Scott and Karyn for opening your heart and home for this special pup. Can't wait to see what is in store for his next journey

Her perfect family is one that has someone home more during the day verses in the office all day. She is doing so good, little wobbly but she loves to get around, walks, and loves to play with her toys.

Looking for a dog to make you laugh, look no further... she didn't have a great life, but deserves her own family.

Spring is in the Air… and So Are Allergies! 🤧

Just like us, our furry friends can experience seasonal allergies too! If your pup is itching, sneezing, or has watery eyes, they might be reacting to pollen, grass, or other springtime allergens. 🌼🐾

We wanted to update everyone on Honey. She has had her TPLO surgery and is in the healing process. The surgery was almost 2 months ago, and she is healing nicely. She has her 2 month vet re check tomorrow, and hopefully, she continues to heal. She will have 1 more visit in 4 weeks, where they will xray both legs. Sadly, most often, once you take them through surgery, the other leg sometimes needs surgery. Please send her positive thoughts and prayers. We hope she won't need another surgery.

Her journey started last June trying to heal her without needing surgery. We were given Adequan and Rimadyl. After trying this process every time we tried to reduce the frequency, she would do some limping. We knew she needed the surgery.

The TPLO surgery had to be completed by a specialist. The costs were over 4k. This doesn't include the pre work we tried to help her heal.

Please continue to keep her in your prayers. We can't wait until she is healed, feeling better and ready for a forever family.

A Tail of 4 Paws Paint, Plant & Sip Fundraiser on Saturday April 26th , 2025-1pm-4pm. We are partnering with RejuveNate Plant & Wellness for this amazing event to Paint a 6" terracotta pot-what's great about this class is you have the freedom to create what you want on your terracotta pot. Each pot will be sealed and then they will work with you to pick out a plant and pot it. So, make sure to bring your creativeness. Location: Moran Athletic Club 1207 Nicholson St, Joliet, IL. Cost: $60 includes all supplies and portion goes directly to A Tail of 4 Paws.

A little about RejuveNate and how the event will work; RejuveNate – Plants & Wellness is fully based on mental health awareness and su***de prevention. Their paint classes are to not only educate and bring awareness to mental health but to also give participants a sense of self care and their own mental health boost. There are more mental health benefits of you getting creative on your own then us giving you step by step instruction, they will be there to help/support as needed in the painting of the terracotta pots.

We will have a couple of our adoptable pups, raffle prizes, and ATO4P merch, We hope to see you out for our day of fun and help support our rescue ATO4P

Who is looking for a scruffy boy to add to your family, meet Benny.

Come on out Saturday from 11 to 2 at the Farm & Fleet in Romeoville and meet your next forever pup Benny. He was not treated well and almost didn't make it prior to coming into the rescue. From day 1 he has been great with everyone, great with every dog he meets, housebroken, crate trained, and walks good on a leash.
