This week our 🌟Shining Star🌟 is Sabrina!

SVC was Sabrina's FIRST veterinary experience in 2020! She came to shadow our team and learn more about veterinary medicine when considering to pursue a veterinary career. With her strong motivation, adaptability, and likable personality, she became someone we wanted to be a permanent part of our team!

Please note that Schroeck Veterinary Care will be closed on Monday, May 25th in observance of Memorial Day. We will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, May 26th at 8:00 a.m.

This weekend I had the pleasure of “Coating” Emily at the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine Class of 2028 Coating ceremony. This event marks the half way point in a student’s veterinary curriculum! It is when the student’s transition from their academic studies to applying their newly found knowledge in the clinical setting! We are so proud of our former SVC employee Emily Clements! She is going to be an amazing veterinarian one day! Furthermore, it was a walk down memory lane, because 22 years ago, I was on that same stage receiving my veterinary degree from the University of Florida! GO GATORS! 🐊🐊🐊

Everyone, meet Truman — SVC’s newest (and cutest) team member! 💙🐶

Our official mascot and emotional support pup is here to turn any ✨ruff✨ day into tail wags and smiles.

Truman is in the office four days a week, spreading joy, stealing hearts, and handing out plenty of puppy kisses along the way.

His payment? Belly rubs and treats, of course! And while he’s already spoiled by the team all day long… he’s always willing to work a little harder for more. 🤩
