Even a trained super agent can find himself in a bit of trouble! Last night Bond, James Bond arrived to the ER in quite a predicament. His stomach, full of water and air had flipped over on itself causing a life threatening case of Bloat. Thankfully our doctors and staff kicked their special training into gear and rushed him right to surgery. We are happy to report that he has made a quick recovery and is home recuperating until his next mission! ❤️🐶🐾

We are thrilled that Brody is receiving the best care possible at the Brevard zoo and is doing so well on his journey! We wouldn’t expect any less from the caring and expert hands of our Board Certified Surgeon Jeff Christiansen and his surgical nurse Hailey Persinger. We are proud to have them as part of our surgery department team at ASEH ❤️🐾

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – “Brody,” Brevard Zoo’s black bear, was brought to the L3Harris Animal Care Center recently for his second round of stem-cell therapy.
