Huge thx to the Usual Suspects hbc for inviting PBT & SNOBS hbc to the smoked Bock release Saturday!
Plus a tour of the brewhouse!

Adam (brewer) mentioned Kickstand recently acquired Draft Horse Brewery in S. Lyon.
We suggested the new name be KS 2..😉

The smoked Bock was outstanding plus their
belgian triple, birch bark porter and double birch bark porter were fantastic as well!
Great job Adam!

It truly was another successful homebrew/brewery co-lab day!
We may see if it's possible to have a meeting there soon?

Thx again for the invite!

PBT was out at the Kris Kringle Market in downtown Rochester volunteering again Saturday.

Kris Kringle is part European market, lights, unique vendors, musical entertainment and a warming (beer) tent!
It was another fun & successful volunteer event helping Rochester DDA & The Mills brewing co!

Our next volunteer event is the Fire and Ice Festival in January!

A big thanks to Rustic Leaf Brewery for hosting Pontiac Mead Society's 7th anniversary celebration Saturday!

A Mead club that was spawned out of Pontiac Brewing Tribe and The Society of North Oakland Brewers (SNOB's) hbc in 2018.

Many meads were shared and talked about including the oldest melomel from 2014.

Everyone have a great holiday season and we'll see you all in 2026!

Rich took second place at Kuhnhenn Guild of Brewers annual Chili Cookoff. A fun time was had by everyone attending. All 17 chili's were delicious.

Big thanks to Nick and Becky for hosting PBT's 2nd annual fresh/wet hop brew day Sat!
Beers were brewed for our 4th annual Sma$h beer comp at our upcoming October 14th meeting!

Remember we decided at the September meeting you can enter more than one Sma$h beer this year!
You could win the coveted Sma$h beer trophy and more importantly bragging rights for the year!
Nick won it last year.

Another epic Michigan Homebrew Festival is in the books.
From the kickoff toast Thur to the final beer poured Sat night...

We've never seen so many Blackstones, grills and smokers at club sites!
The food served all weekend proves homebrewers are awsome foodies as well...

Matched perfectly with all the great homebrews, ciders, meads and "other " fermentables to sample!

The food p**n pic of the festival definitely was the 100+ chickens roasting on spickets at the AABG site! They were delicious!
Thx for sharing with every club!

PBT did very well in the Mi Beer Cup comp this year! Picking up 7 medals plus the High Gravity award/plaque for highest average score of all the entries! 🏆
Congrats to the 7 winners!

Special thanks to PBT's event coordinator Marcus/Beersquatch for his awsome job all weekend!
His Fat Elvis French Toast placed 2nd this year.

Cadillac Straits Brewery.

Judging beers brewed on May 17th at Rochester Mills Beer Co.

Brewers & Peoples Choice judging 1-3rd.
Custom medals & awsome homebrew related prizes to the winners!

As always this event is free and open to the public. 21 & over please!

The homebrews, food & brewing were awsome!

We're looking forward to the charity auction at MHF. We saw the prizes and will definitely be buying tickets to help surpass your goal for the Rainbow Connection charity.
