These signs are big - single letters are about 30" high, Made In Detroit and Lion are almost 4' high. All hand made and cut out, these are not just painted on - each letter in the Made in Detroit sign is hand cut then painted and mounted on the background. Same thing with all the 'lettered' signs. The letters and designs are 3/4" cutouts mounted on another piece of 3/4' plywood so they are sturdy, not plastic or cardboard.
