Rose just needs a family.

This Friday, June 26, Rose's adoption fee is completely waived for approved adopters!

At just 1 year old, Rose is still discovering the world, and she's determined to find every ounce of joy in it. Walks? Yes. Toys? Absolutely. Belly rubs? She's conducting extensive research and would love to discuss her findings.

Like her namesake, Rose is ready to bloom. All she needs is a little care, a little patience, and a place to put down roots.

As Rochester Animal Services prepares for renovations beginning July 6, every adoption helps create space for animals who will need our care during construction.

Cali [pink pjs], Dolly [playing with her stuffie], Eva [with her foster siblings], are all doing great in their foster homes as they wait for their furever families...and that's because our fosters said "yes".

As RAS prepares for upcoming shelter renovations, we're building a network of foster caregivers who can provide temporary homes for dogs in need.

As Rochester Animal Services prepares for shelter renovations beginning July 6, we're working to help more dogs find loving homes before construction begins. That means incredible opportunities for dogs like Ria to start their next chapter.

At 2 years old, Ria is proof that some of life's best friendships are worth waiting for. While she can be a little shy at first, this sweet girl has been blossoming more every day. She's won over walking buddies with her affectionate nature, enjoys spending time outdoors, and even knows how to give paw!

Ria has also enjoyed positive experiences with other dogs in play yard and may enjoy having a canine companion at home.

Some marshmallows are sweet. Some are soft. This Marshmallow is both.

At 2 years old, Marshmallow has perfected the art of being the total package. He's got an adventurous spirit that loves exploring the world, paired with a gentle, affectionate personality that makes every day a little brighter.

Need a walking buddy? Marshmallow is ready to hit the trail. Looking for someone to help you relax after a long day? He's equally excited to trade hiking boots for couch cuddles. Belly rubs, head scratches, and quality time with his favorite humans are at the top of his list of favorite things.

Please come to Rochester Animal services as soon as possible to confirm ownership and reclaim them.
To reclaim your pet, bring:
° A photo ID
° A leash & collar for dogs OR a carrier for cats/small pets.
° Proof of ownership, such as:
• Vet/vaccine records
• Dog License
• Photos of your pet

📌 Important Hold Information:
° Pets with microchips or other ID tags/forms of identification: We will attempt to contact owners, please make sure your contact information is up to date. Owners will have 10 days to reclaim them.
° Pets without identification are held for a minimum of 3 days before becoming eligible for adoption.

📞 Call 585-428-7274 if you believe we may have your pet. Or come in during business hours for our team to assist you.
