The Modern K9 The Modern K9 offers doggie daycare, in-home boarding and board & trains. Every dog and every owner are unique.

Here at The Modern K9, obedience training is a way of life, not just a short-term solution to a problem. Therefore, we don’t specialize in any one technique. Reward based training may work for certain behaviors; correction and redirection may be necessary for others. Your trainer will work closely with you to understand the relationship between your dog and your stresses. We will build your confid

ence around understanding behaviors and communicating successfully using the most appropriate techniques available today.

It’s not everyday you have a buddy to share a birthday with, but it seems today was that lucky time of year for our wonderful Pepper, and resident chill guy Blanco!

Pepper is turning a tubular two years old, while Blanco is hitting the fabulous five!

Plenty of friends are in to help them celebrate, as well as enjoy the tasty treats!

Patio season is just around the corner!

Whether it’s for a morning cup of coffee, or to read a book in the warm afternoon, spending leisure time with your pup is always worth enjoying the little moments with them.

If you sign up for our day of daycare with an enrichment session, we can begin working on the ‘place’ command, so that you and your dog can lounge around outside without a care in the world!
