Jump Arousal, Let’s talk about It!
Jump arousal refers to when a dog’s excitement level becomes so high that they take Obstacles without being cued.
Examples:
-The dog is anticipating a reward or the next task
-There's a lot of environmental stimulation
-They’re over-aroused and don’t know how to channel that energy productively
We’ve been working on this with Bucket and it’s made such a difference.
It’s not about her being “naughty”, It’s just excitement overflowing and teaching her how to use it with control!
