Featuring 70 X 136 indoor with immaculate felt/sand footing, 80 X 200 sand outdoor arena, well drained and daily cleaned paddocks with automatic waterers, pastures for summer grazing, 12 x 12 stalls with auto waterers, and many, many acres of property to trail ride on. We know every horse is different—we know every horse needs special care. Horse Country Hills was created for that specific reason. We are a private boarding facility, specializing in individualized horse care.

UPDATE: Sold to a loving home!

We have some EXCITING news… Villa is officially for sale!

Villa For Rent is a 8-year-old Standardbred, standing at 15.1 hands. He was previously harness raced, then sat for about nine months, and has been in constant training since mid-February 2024. He’s been under saddle since April 2024 and was a piece of cake to back the first time. No buck under saddle, not spooky and not a mean bone in his body, just young and green!

Rides out on trails with a loose rein, solo or with others, and does fantastic! Currently working on strengthening the trot and building muscle for the canter. Easy half-halt and working on bending. Would recommend an intermediate rider as he is still green.

He is one of the smartest horses we’ve been privileged to work with and it is so fun to watch him figure things out. He is beginner safe on the ground, stands perfectly for farrier and vet, and working on ground tying. Lots and lots of ground work and lunging under his belt.

UTD on all shots, teeth, deworming, sheath, coggins, etc. Barefoot and never had a lame step while with us! He has been around kids, dogs, machinery, etc. and couldn’t care less. He is fine in a stall or pasture board.

He is truly a sweetheart and we know he will go far in any direction you want to take him! He is an absolute blast to work with and we are so excited for his future prospects.

We cannot say enough good things about this guy! We’ve said this from the start but MAN OH MAN is it fun to watch his brain work. Villa is working on getting more balanced at the trot under saddle and not breaking into the pace, but he’s getting the hang of it! Fun trotting exercises in the outdoor and a hack out on the trails today 🐎🌳

Third solo-ride with Villa tonight! So so proud of him. There have been no issues under saddle, no “special” behavior, just some rebalancing and figuring out where our legs are. But tonight, we got some nice blowing, relaxation, and moving between the legs. We are still at a walk, but trotting is in our near future! Canter is coming along nicely on the lunge as well 🙂 thanks again Racehorse Reimagined for pairing us with this special guy!
