Located just 2 hours south of Chicago, Green Acres Sportsman’s Club offers a complete range of high quality upland hunting, sporting clay, driven wing shooting, gundog training services, & corporate events. Established in 1970 the club features over 1000 acres of wildlife habitat specific to upland hunting with a wide variety of cover types and upland field sizes. Our well kept kennels house up to

72 dogs of a variety of breeds and ages. Our three trainers offer retriever, pointer, obedience, and versatile dog training programs. Managed by Dan Ihrke, our team at Green Acres provide a staff of personable, passionate, and educated staff.

We were so happy that our friends from Kankakee River HRC returned to host their 2026 Quad Upland Hunt at our club this weekend. It was great to reconnect with friends and see so many talented dogs giving it their all out in our fields. We're already looking forward to next year!
