My tack room has become a Cat Cafe! After we lost our old man barn kittie to old age a few weeks back the neighbor’s cat and her five feral kittens moved in. After a few hours beating the bushes all five were rounded up and into the tack room they went. Now after a coupe of weeks of being loved on by all of us they are ready for life as house cats! They are shown here practicing their various couch sleeping techniques.

Finally getting around to posting some pics from the August 2019 SRS Bereiter clinic, Sheffield Farm, Hickory Corners MI. My students and I had a GREAT time! Three days of intense work....followed by lots and lots of homework....which I’m itching to get back to doing just as soon as the ice from this latest snowstorm finishes sliding off the indoor arena roof!!

SFI Patriot 1993-2020
Inseparable in life, and passed away four days apart, these two were here since almost the very beginning of Sycamore Farm. They were the best kind of school horses, always patient and always ready for whatever the day might bring. Over the years they helped me to start, and advance many, many students. Retired for the past several years their only job was to enjoy their pasture time and grooming- always together. The stable seems much emptier without them, they will be missed.
