🐾 Memorial Day BBQ Safety Tips for Pets 🐾

As we enjoy the long weekend with cookouts, family, and fun, don’t forget to keep your pets safe around the BBQ!

🍔 Keep table scraps away — fatty foods, bones, corn cobs, onions, garlic, grapes, and alcohol can be dangerous for pets.
🔥 Watch the grill — hot surfaces, charcoal, lighter fluid, and skewers can cause serious injuries.
🌭 Secure the trash — food wrappers, foil, bones, and leftovers can be tempting but harmful.
💧 Provide fresh water and shade — pets can overheat quickly during outdoor celebrations.
🎆 Prepare for loud noises — fireworks and parties can be scary, so make sure your pet has a quiet, safe space indoors.
🔖 Check IDs — with doors and gates opening often, make sure your pet’s collar, tags, and microchip information are up to date.
