Our animal hospital will be closed on Thursday, November 28th - Friday, November 29th for Thanksgiving. We will reopen with regular hours on Monday, December 1st.

Meet Rodney!
"Hi! I'm Rodney! I am a retired Greyhound adopted from Ireland! There are so many fun facts about greyhounds but let me tell you about me! I LOVE to sleep and eat and sleep and do a zoomie and sleep. I love visiting my friends at Foxmoor because they always give me hugs and treats. My mom spoils me a lot! When I raced in Ireland I won a lot of races but then I heard of this retirement business and I said "that's for me!" It was a long flight but they said someone special was waiting for me, it was my mom (oh and the rest of the family). Think about rescuing a greyhound, they are great with kids and sometimes cats!" Here is some evidence of Rodney enjoying his time at FAH with us!

Meet Sir Humphrey Randolph! This giant boi is a little over a year old and nothing but a goof! His favorite person in the world is his Dad, even if he has to listen to him go "blah blah blah" all day. He loves to make friends where ever he goes and to show off his "aqua aerobics". Humphrey is actually one of our technicians parent's pup so he never minds coming to visit sissy at work...and of course coming to see all his ladies! 😂

🎃🐾 Happy Howl-o-ween! 🐾🎃

Halloween is full of fun frights, but some of those spooky surprises can be dangerous for our furry friends. Keep your pets safe this season with these quick tips:

👻 Treats are for trick-or-treaters, not pets!
Chocolate, sugar-free candies (xylitol), and raisins are toxic to dogs and cats. Keep candy bowls out of paw’s reach.

🕯️ Beware of decorations.
Glow sticks, candles, fake cobwebs, and cords can tempt curious pets and lead to burns, choking, or tummy troubles.

🧛 Costumes should be comfy.
If your pet wears a costume, make sure it’s safe: no tight straps, dangling parts, or blocked vision. Always supervise them.

🚪 Door dashing danger.
With trick-or-treaters coming and going, pets may slip outside. Keep them secure in a quiet room or use a leash/harness.

🌙 ID is essential.
Make sure collars, tags, and microchips are up to date—just in case your little goblin gets out.

⭐ Pet of the Week! ⭐

Meet Spencer! This pup is about 10 weeks old and just a ball of energy. His big brother is learning to "tolerate" him lol but we know he secretly loves him! Spencer is very unique, we don't commonly see a "black" boxer, it's a rare coloring referred to as Sealed Brindle. He came to see us for his first puppy exam! We can't wait to see how big this boy gets...his paws were MASSIVE for pup his age!

Everyone please welcome Spencer to our FAH Family! 🐾

We’re Breaking Up with Metronidazole 💔 (It’s Not Us, It’s the Microbiome)

✨ Important Update for Our Pet Parents! ✨

At Foxmoor Animal Hospital, we’re always looking for ways to provide the best, most compassionate care for your furry family members. 🐾

We’re updating how we treat diarrhea to better support your pet’s overall health. We’ve learned that the routine use of metronidazole (an antibiotic) can do more harm than good to your pet’s gut health🍃 🌿. So we’re switching to a safer, more effective protocol that’s healthier for their tummy and just as effective. 🐶🐱

If you have any questions about this change, our team is happy to help. Thank you for trusting us with your pets’ care! 💚
