It’s that time of year when young horses are coming in to get started, and we are BUSY!!!

We are seeking a motivated, reliable, and hardworking individual to join our training operation and contribute to our continued success.

We’re looking for someone who is:
- Motivated
- Reliable
- Hard-working
- Willing to be part of a team and get the job done

🔸 This is FIRST AND FOREMOST a riding position 🔸
- Please do not apply if you are unable to ride.
- Experience with young horses and/or cow horses is a BIG plus.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to travel when needed is required.
- Must be self-motivated, organized, and willing to work until the job is done.

🐴 Job Duties Include (but are not limited to):

• Grooming, saddling, and warming up horses
• Feeding & general daily horse care
• Cleaning barn, tack room, and feed room
• Helping maintain a safe, organized, and professional facility

Compensation:
• Housing provided (including utilities)
• Salary provided

🔥 Another busy past 2 weeks for Team Diamond C! 🔥

We kicked things off in beautiful Lewisburg, West Virginia, at Shawnee Farm, graciously hosted by Jim Johnson and his wonderful family.
From there, we headed straight to Eaton, Ohio, for the All American Quarter Horse Congress Cutting.

August was an incredible month for Team Diamond C — full of grit, growth, and great rides! We are so proud of both our horses and riders who brought their “A” game every time they walked to the herd. 💪✨

• Columbiana, OH – A fantastic weekend with strong runs, and lots of smiles.
• Perry, VA (Peach State Futurity) – Another successful stop, with both horses and riders showing confidence and heart in the pen.

Team Diamond C – June Recap! 🌟🐴

June was a whirlwind for Team Diamond C! Between welcoming new horses, adding a beautiful new barn, and fresh faces to our team, we’ve had our hands full. The summer heat definitely kept us on our toes, and while we may have gotten a little behind on our show rundown, better late than never! We’re excited to finally share the highlights and results from our June shows in Bloomsburg, PA and Chatham, VA! Huge thanks to PA Cutting Horse Association and to Flent Performance Horses for hosting such well-run and welcoming events. And as always, many many thanks to the turnback help—we couldn’t do it without you!

Due to unforeseen circumstances, our newest hire had to withdraw from the position because of a family emergency. As a result, we are continuing our search for an additional team member to join us.

We are looking for a motivated and dedicated individual to contribute to our team's ongoing success.

Duties to include but not limited to: grooming, saddling, warming up, feeding, and other general care of horses, as well as cleaning and maintaining barn, feed room, tack, etc.

Applicants must have their own transportation, be able to travel, be self-motivated, organized and willing to work until the job is done.

Awards were given out for ECCHA for 2024:

Paris Bailey was the champion in the Youth, and reserve champion in the 2k Ltd on “Playgirl For You”. She was the champion in the 15k amateur on “Taco Tuesdayy”.

Paul Wasyln was 3rd on “Taco Tuesdayy” in the 25 novice horse.

Caroline Melanson Mcneely was the champion in the 25 novice non-pro on “Blu Too Smart”, and in the 5 novice non-pro on “Shesa Rebel Angel”.

Highlights from this past weekend below:

“I Love George Streyt” owned by Bradley Houze and shown by Paul Wasyln was:
3rd in the 25 Novice on Saturday and 2nd on Sunday.

“Shesa Rebel Angel” owned and shown by Caroline McNeely was:
1st in the 25 Novice Non-Pro on Saturday, and 2nd on Sunday.

“Taco Tuesdayy” owned by Harold Bailey and shown by Paris Bailey was:

1st in the 35 non-pro both Saturday and Sunday.

“Whiskey Cat” owned by Jeffrey Carver and own shown by Avery Shriver was 3rd in the 2k Ltd on Saturday.

“Playgirl For You” owned by Harold Bailey and shown by Paris Bailey was 1st in the 15k Am on Sunday.
