We strive to have proper horsemanship and great foundations on all of our horses. They get the best care with body work, our farriors and vets and even down to our feed store have all been meticulously picked as they offer the best we can get for our horses.

First one up for this week. & this horse is NICE. She’s an upper level prospect and perfect for a ammy to bring along!

Oakley is a 4 yr old TB, 16.1h and a big girl with a super soft kind eye. She is the sweetest horse in my barn and always wants cuddles and scratches! Shes so in your pocket I think she thinks she can actually fit.

She has been lightly started last year then turned out to grow and then client horses took over and she took the wayside. She’s been through jump chutes and is a very promising hunter. Would love to see her in a show home! She has virtually zero spook, she’s extremely level headed and would be a super easy ammy project to bring along. The foundation is there she just needs to be finished. My lack of time is your betterment! I own her half sister who is competing at the novice level in eventing with room for more.

We have two openings available for sales, development training, or a tune-up session in mid-February, and two spots in March. We’re eager to start booking for spring to secure our preferred spots.

I’m here for the glow up 👏🏼

On the left is Nikon today in our program and on right is in mid November. He’s come so far, he leg yields, solid WTC both leads, going over poles and is learning to move laterally. Such a cool horse in under 3 months.

My favorite part about being a horse trainer is that watching a horses body change, grow muscle and become a solid citizen for the client. It’ll never get old for me ❤️

We have a couple rare openings at our barn!

As an Eventer this is a good read, and I think it’s a good thing happening here.

We’ve all seen gasp-inducing cross-country rides. Maybe it’s because someone was flying around at a reckless speed, repeatedly finding poor distances, or maybe it’s because they were arriving at fences so slowly their horse was struggling to get to the other side.

Emerald Performance Horses is expanding our training program to include lessons for all ages! We specialize in many different ranges from: Eventing, Hunters, Pleasure, speed work and horsemanship skills. We invite you to come try a lesson and see how our head trainer, Alex, can help you understand the fundamentals of your riding to be able to grow as a rider. No experience is necessary. We have lesson horses for those just learning to ride to those that are looking to expand their skill sets to the highest levels. We focus on a horse first type mentality allowing you to learn how to expand on your connection as a rider and excel! As an active show barn, learning to go to shows is also an added bonus!

Dirty soda 🥤

Pepsi is a 6 year old 15.1h paint hunter jumper prospect that I think with more miles can be a super kids mount.

Pepsi is easy on the ground, a push ride under saddle and overall a nice guy. He’s been riding under a junior currently and is doing great. He trail rides amazing, snaffle mouth and has no spook.

He’s ready to go into your program today with no issues.
