My son Carson, has a growing interest in taxidermy. After school it is common for him to join me in the shop. He can often be found helping to sew, blow drying the animals, paging through Breakthrough magazines or taxidermy catalogs.

This past winter one of his goals was to catch his first mink and mount it. He was brainstorming on a taxidermy pose well before he caught the mink. He actually created his own album of mink reference photos that he cut out from a Ranger Rick book.

Thanks to some landowners who gave us permission to trap, Carson connected on his first mink!

These photos show glimpses of the process from beginning to end.

Looking forward to being able to continue working together, Lord willing.

Are you ready for 🦃 season!?

Triple Trophy will be accepting a limited amount of turkeys this spring with preference given to existing customers.
Also, for this season we will not be offering any feather art displays due to our current workload.
I appreciate everyones understanding.
