Galloping Lane Farm is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented individual to join our team! This position can be up to 5 days a week, approximately 4–6 hours per day.

Responsibilities include:
• Feeding horses
• Turning horses in/out
• Cleaning stalls and bedding
• Cleaning paddocks
• Dumping, scrubbing, and refilling water buckets
• General barn upkeep and daily operations
• Blanketing horses as needed
• Keeping the barn neat and organized
• Filling hay nets

We’re looking for someone who can work independently, handle a variety of horse-related tasks, and be a dependable extra set of hands around the barn. Pay will depend on experience, and riding opportunities may be available for the right candidate.

Requirements:
• Must be 18+
• Previous horse experience preferred
• Reliable transportation required

We have a client who is starting to look for a 14.2-15 h gelding or mare. (Northeast/Mid-Atlantic preferred) 15 yrs or older, very quiet is a must. This can be a step down career. Maintenance is ok, severe lameness is not ok. Looking to do flat work, a little bit of jumping - cross rails and needs to be a solid citizen for trails, no spooking. We know we are looking for a Unicorn, but it would be a 5 star home and the most gentle landing for a horse on the backside of a career. Budget will reflect the horse but low xx,### or high x,### would be reasonable. Show me what you have.

An Exciting Boarding Opportunity at Galloping Lane Farm!
We’re thrilled to offer a rare opening for a mare or gelding to join our tight-knit farm family!

We have an opening in our Blue Barn on June 1st. Stall board is $975 per month and is directly attached to the indoor arena and features stable comfort flooring plus a private 12’ x 24’ stone-dust paddock. Perfect for your retired horse or a horse coming back from an injury and rehabbing. New Boarder will also have regular turnout available beyond the private paddock if desired.
Farm Amenities Include:

• Indoor arena with sand/fiber footing.

• Expansive outdoor arena (room for a dressage arena and jump
course at the same time)

• Cross-country fences around the outdoor perimeter, and
trail hacking available beyond the outdoor ring.

• Round pen

• Horsemanship lessons and riding lessons offered

• Training or exercise rides offered as well - we are
experienced with young, newly started horses and OTTBs.

• Equine reproduction services

• Indoor and Outdoor Wash stalls. Hot and cold water.

• Tack rooms and storage area.

• Fields with run-in sheds

Horses are fed twice daily, including supplements and medications. Additional charge for extra feedings/medications. Blanketing fee applies October-March. Trailer parking available for a small monthly fee (space permitting).

Our farm is open 7 days a week, you can use your own vet, farrier, and trainer, or work with us! Outside trainers are welcome but they must be insured and there is a ring fee.
