Spots opened for boarding at Blue Orchard Stables August 1!! 🎉‼️

6 stalls (2 main barn, 4 brand new shed row) available for $920/month
3 field board spots available for $720/month

I am super excited to announce that Blue Orchard Stables is expanding!! BOS is a 22-acre 15 stall private lesson/training facility with 16 luscious grass paddocks, a beautiful heated tack room and wash stall area with hot and cold water. We care for our horses with premium Purina grains and Timothy/Orchard hay. We have a round pen as well as a 212ft x 87ft lit sand arena with a full jumping course and a grass field that you can also ride in! Our mission is to provide the best possible service to our customers to make their four-legged children very happy.

Here is what full stall board includes: ($920)
* Matted stall with window, 2 water buckets (possibly 3 in the summer),1 feed tub, and a fan for the summer
* Extra large stall 12’x12’ ($920), Extra large stall with a fenced run out (24ft) ($970) or standard stall 8’x10’ ($820) (depends on availability)
* 2 half hour private lessons per month at Blue Orchard Stables. Can be jumping or flat lessons ($60 per lesson, paid in advance)
* Water buckets cleaned daily
* Fresh water given daily
* Hay supplied (timothy/orchard mix)
* Stall cleaned daily and replenished with fresh thin wood shavings
* Use of tack room, 1 trunk permitted next to stall
* AM/PM feedings (supplements/meds given as needed)
* Water (trough) in field scrubbed and re-filled regularly (heater in trough in the winter)
* Blanketing if needed (fly sheets/masks, winter blankets)
* Daily or Nightly turnout (weather permitting)
* All shots and worming as well as appointments for any veterinary problems attended by staff member and handled for vet if needed. Emergency care calls made and attended to. (Vet supplies not included)
* Blacksmith services scheduled and horse attended for blacksmith by staff member

In Loving Memory of Jazz 🪽

Today, we honor the life of a truly remarkable soul—Jazz, a beautiful grey mare whose spirit danced through nearly three decades of grace, strength, and love. At 28 years old, Jazz wasn’t just a horse; she was a friend, a teacher, a constant presence whose wisdom and heart touched every person lucky enough to know her. For 21 of those years, she was loved fiercely and faithfully by one person: Tara. The bond Tara and Jazz shared was rare and unshakable. From her charcoal grey years at age 7 to her snow white years at age 28, Tara was grateful to own a horse like Jazz. Jazz lived a full and gentle life, surrounded by love. She grew older with dignity, her coat kissed with wisdom, her eyes still full of kindness. Even in her final days, she stood with quiet strength, reminding us that a great life isn’t measured in years alone, but in love given and received. She leaves behind hoofprints on our hearts, too deep to fade. Though we had to say goodbye, we find comfort in knowing she now runs free in endless fields, beneath skies always blue, her spirit forever unbridled.

Thank you, Jazz, for everything. You were the once-in-a-lifetime kind of horse, and you will never be forgotten.
Rest well, sweet girl.

Pauline and Julianne, both owners and managers of Blue Orchard Stables graduated from Delaware Valley University last week!!! Here are some pictures of their senior ride up to campus. Pauline was riding her horse Keegan, and Julianne was riding a DelVal horse named Hank!! Thank you DelVal Equine for everything!!
