Palmetto Animal League (PAL) is a 501-c-3 non-profit, no kill animal rescue organization that believes every animal deserves a second chance at life. PAL’s Adoption Center, located in Okatie, South Carolina, serves as a temporary residence for approximately 200 dogs and cats while they wait to find a loving home. This comfortable, upbeat facility is also home to PAL's Veterinary Clinic, which offe

rs wellness exams, vaccines and other services to pet owners at affordable prices. PAL uses the proceeds to rescue more abandoned, abused and neglected animals and place them in loving homes. In addition, PAL manages a network of loving foster families to house and care for pets too young or too weak to be adopted. 💙We need pet food baggers!💙
We are in need of people to bag pet food for our Feed it Forward program. Through this program, we bag and provide pet food to three local food banks: Agape, Margaret Curtis, and Mercy Mission.
This would be a weekly need in which you'd bag food at our Adoption Center Monday, Tuesday, or early Wednesday. Make a difference at Palmetto Animal League and in our community!🐾

Through our Reading to the Rescue program, children can bring a book of their choosing to read to the cats at the PAL Adoption Center! Let's practice our reading and make some friends!

This program takes place Wednesdays from 11-12pm and children will need to be supervised by a parent💙

Donnie is a handsome 4-year-old black doodle weighing in at 75 pounds of love and personality! This sweet boy has a wonderful temperament and absolutely adores people. Donnie is happiest when he’s spending time with his humans, soaking up attention, and being part of the fun.

💙Padme is a precious 3-month-old beagle pup with a striking tricolor coat of tan and white! She is a petite girl right now at 18 lbs, but she's got a big personality packed into my small frame. She is ready to bring joy, puppy energy, and endless love into your home🐾
💙 Molly is a sweet and gentle girl who was found as a stray, completely malnourished. With the help of our staff, she has reached a healthy weight and is as happy as ever. Molly loves meeting new dogs and she is very treat motivated. She may be shy when first meeting new people but taking the time to sit with her for a few minutes will help her immediately break out of her shell🐾

💙Billy Ray is an affectionate and social two-year-old that's ready to meet his new family!💙
Billy Ray is quick to greet you and you'll be instantly charmed by his sweet personality. When he came to PAL he had some matting, which is why he is sporting his unique haircut right now, but this look is temporary.

Billy Ray is FeLV positive, but is considered regressive at this time and his immune system is combatting the virus naturally. He has no adoption fee🐾
