Palmetto Animal League (PAL) is a 501-c-3 non-profit, no kill animal rescue organization that believes every animal deserves a second chance at life. PAL’s Adoption Center, located in Okatie, South Carolina, serves as a temporary residence for approximately 200 dogs and cats while they wait to find a loving home. This comfortable, upbeat facility is also home to PAL's Veterinary Clinic, which offe

rs wellness exams, vaccines and other services to pet owners at affordable prices. PAL uses the proceeds to rescue more abandoned, abused and neglected animals and place them in loving homes. In addition, PAL manages a network of loving foster families to house and care for pets too young or too weak to be adopted. WISH LIST WEDNESDAY 🐶🎁 We need more linens! With so many puppies to care for at Palmetto Animal League, we could really use donations of flat sheets. We are running low, so if you've been meaning to clean out your linen closet, we can make great use of your old sheets. When we hear the phrase "mangy mutt" at Palmetto Animal League we go into rescue mode! Demodex mange is actually a non-contagious, benign, highly treatable skin condition that disproportionately affects young puppies, like these, whose immune systems are still developing. These precious, 2-month-old pups are ready to go home, but we're worried they may get overlooked for adoption. In time, their fur will fill in beautifully and their rough start to life will become a distant memory. Until then, we care for them at our No Kill Adoption Center, play with them, cuddle them, and promise them that a new life is just around the corner. Every day, these sweet, adorable, innocent souls hope and pray to find a forever home with a family that understands true beauty comes from within. 🐾💙

Frankie is about 8–9 weeks old and full of love — he’s a cuddly, playful lap cat who will purr his way into your heart. Shyla, around 4–5 months, is more reserved but making progress every day. She greets with meows, enjoys pets when comfortable, and shines with patience and love.
These two adore each other... They cuddle, groom, and play together. Frankie helps Shyla feel safe, so they truly thrive as a pair. They’re litter box trained, do well with respectful kids, and are comfortable around other cats and even small dogs. Both are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated.

We are completely blown away by the outpouring of love and support for Randy!

When we put out the call asking for cozy sweaters and t-shirts for him, we never imagined the incredible response we’d get from our community. Thanks to all of you, Randy now has a full wardrobe of comfort and warmth! So many sweaters were donated that we have enough to support another special needs kitty in our care in the future.

We are beyond grateful, utterly shocked, and reminded once again how amazing this community is. Thank you for rallying behind him and showing so much kindness. You’ve made a world of difference for one special cat.

Bindi is 40 pounds of pure fluff! 😍 This sweet, senior girl loves the beach, and at 9 years old, she is active, healthy, and an absolute pleasure to walk. Bindi is a happy dog who enjoys playing with toys and does well with other dogs.
