♥️Worth the Drive ❤️

What an honor it was to be invited to the Wahkiakum County Fair Junior Livestock Sale and support the amazing youth who work so hard raising their market animals — including some kids feeding Rietdyks feed. 🐷❤️

One of the best parts of these trips is getting to see the communities behind these fairs. We were even able to stop and tour Little Island Creamery and see a dairy feeding Rietdyks feed to there dairy animals and egg laying flock . It’s pretty special to see our feed go from our mill to farms and then into these amazing animals and community events.

As we support these kids, let’s also remember to stop and support the Mom & Pop businesses and local families along the way. They are such an important part of these communities and do so much to support our youth.

And to everyone who takes the drive to come get your feed from us — thank you! We truly appreciate every mile.

🌟 The Rietdyks Farmers Award — In Memory of Leonard & Lucy 🌟

We are so excited to announce our Rietdyks Farmers Award winners! ❤️ This nomination-based award recognizes a young person who demonstrates a positive attitude, is always eager to learn, and is willing to lend a helping hand.

This year, we had the joy of recognizing youth with projects including a dairy cow, steer, pig, sheep, chicken, rabbit, and goat. 🐄🐖🐑🐓🐇🐐

It was truly inspiring to see so many hardworking kids who represent the very best of our agricultural community. We are honored to celebrate them and to keep the memory of Leonard and Lucy alive through an award that recognizes kindness, hard work, a willingness to learn, and helping others. ❤️🌾

What a wonderful weekend celebrating the youth of our community! ❤️

We had the privilege of attending the Clark County Fair Junior Livestock Auction and watching so many hardworking kids proudly bring their projects into the ring. Seeing those beautiful animals—many of them raised on Rietdyks Milling feed—was such a rewarding moment for us.

Then we took a beautiful trip up the Columbia River Gorge to the Skamania Fair to cheer on even more kids and their market projects. 🐄🐑🐖 🐐

There is something truly special about watching young people learn responsibility, dedication, hard work, and the rewards that come from caring for livestock. These kids are not just raising animals—they’re building skills, confidence, and a connection to agriculture that will help shape the future of farming and our communities. 🌾❤️

We are so proud to play even a small part in their journey and so grateful to see the next generation of farmers and livestock leaders growing right before our eyes.

Here’s to the kids, their families, their projects, and the future of agriculture! 🐄🐑🐖🌾

It was such a great feeling walking around the Cowlitz County Fair and seeing so many Rietdyks Milling feed bags in the barns. You can buy a bag of feed just about anywhere, but you can only get fresh, locally milled Rietdyks feed straight from the source. We’re worth the drive!
