To our mazing customer families, I want to be very transparent with you. I am watching the news about the NWSW and am paying attention. Not because I want to be an alarmist, but because I care. Joe and I are livestock owners with a herd we deeply value. He has worked hard to build our herd. We have an incredible bull and some gorgeous mommas that have produced and thrown some beautiful babies, and we love them.
The most recent news of the fast moving screw worm does not surprise me. I have been following this story and tracking their migration for almost two years, and feel prepared for this moment.
Kyalami Kennels is a relatively small operation and we take great care of the dogs in our charge. We are always with them and will monitor them constantly while in our care. We have a great relationship with Bella Terra Animal Hospital and Dr. Heather Puksta and Dr. Davidson. If I have any concerns about your dogs while in our care, they are my second call after you! You can rest easy knowing I’m watching. I know what to look for and I understand the importance of wound care, mood changes, and how to react with care.
