The AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) program is designed to recognize dogs that demonstrate good manners at home and in public. In our 5-week CGC class, you'll work on the skills needed to pass the CGC test, including:
✔️ Polite greetings with people
✔️ Loose leash walking
✔️ Attention around distractions
✔️ Calm, well-mannered behavior in everyday situations
The first four weeks focus on building and polishing these skills, and during week five, you'll take the official AKC CGC test—included in the cost of the class!

Requirements:
• Completion of Manners 2 (or a Class Readiness Evaluation confirming an equivalent training level)
• Dogs under 1 year old who have not attended classes at WAGD within the past 2 months must complete a new Class Readiness Evaluation
• Dogs over 1 year old who have not attended classes at WAGD within the past 6 months must complete a new Class Readiness Evaluation
