What makes Take Me Home Pet Rescue (TMHPR) different from every other animal rescue and shelter? Their foster families get to learn everything about them. This helps the foster pick the perfect home for the pet! Pets also get to work on training and house manners. Take Me Home Pet Rescue was founded in 2008 to meet the growing needs of the homeless pet population in the Dallas/Fort Worth Area. Wit

h the addition of the Adoption Center in 2012, TMHPR continues as a foster-based rescue, meeting the needs of homeless pets in need of Forever Loving Homes. Rescues like Take Me Home, with your support, are able to take animals from overcrowded shelters, and other unfortunate situations and provide them with the appropriate medical care, training and a loving foster home where they can learn to enjoy life again. As a result of living in a home, fosters are able to get to know the pet and help find the perfect Forever Home. TMHPR has set a goal of expanding our current facilities, as well as, continuing to rescue pets from high kill shelters and from the streets of Dallas.
