Day THREE and the end of our Greeley Kennel Club Annual Dog Show adventure! 🏔️🐾

Daz decided to finish out the weekend by showing his age and choosing a little bit of chaos. 😂 He was feeling GOOD, goofy, playful, and maybe having a bit too much fun in the ring!

🏆 Show 1: Daz took Best of Breed and FSS Group 3 under judge Shauna DeMoss, with 11 breeds represented and 30 dogs entered in the group!
1st Class, Best Male, Best of Breed, FSS Group 3 - 1 CM point

His first go-around was VERY bouncy. 😂 Ms. DeMoss asked us to go again so he could redeem himself, and he managed to pull it together! She recognized what a nice representative of the Tornjak he is and awarded him Group 3. I'd much rather have a young dog having too much fun than a lump at the end of the lead!

🏆 Show 2: Daz finished the cluster with another Best of Breed under judge Dr. Joseph E. Hug!
1st Class, Best Male, Best of Breed - 1 CM point

Unfortunately, no FAST CAT today. Show 2 ran late, and we needed to pack up the RV for the trip home. A little disappointing because Daz had energy to spare!

And with that, Greeley is a wrap! ❤️ What an incredible weekend of CM points, group placements, FAST CAT, great competition, new friends and good friends, a Tornjak family reunion, and lots of fun. I'm so proud of this goofy young boy and everything he accomplished! And thank you so much Diana McCarty for all your hard work for the FSS and MISC breeds! 🐾🏔️

Now it's time to head home! 🚐❤️

Day TWO at Greeley Kennel Club Annual Dog Show an American Kennel Club event is complete, and Daz had another fantastic day! 🏔️🐾

🏆 Show 1: Daz took Best of Breed with breed competition under judge Jean Pero, earning another point toward his CM! There were an incredible 50 dogs entered in the Open Show!
1st Class, Best Male, Best of Breed

🏆 Show 2: Daz did it again, taking Best of Breed with breed competition for another CM point, then went on to earn FSS Group 2 under Judge Tracey Luty! 🎉 There were 54 dogs entered in the Open Show. The BIGGEST number of FSS/MISCELLANEOUS breeds I have even seen!
1st Class, Best Male, Best of Breed, 2nd in FSS Group

The FSS Group had 11 breeds represented and 33 dogs, so I am incredibly proud of Daz for representing the Tornjak and placing second in such a great lineup! ❤️ He finished behind a beautiful Eurasier, who went on to take BEST IN OPEN SHOW! Congratulations to them on an amazing win!

And, of course, we couldn't leave without some more FAST CAT! 💨🐕

Daz got TWO runs in today and even beat his time from yesterday!

💨 Run 1: 10.66 seconds
💨 Run 2: 11.57 seconds

He's still a little slow, but he's brand new to this and still figuring out the game. Most importantly, he is having an absolute BLAST doing it! 😂 I have a feeling FAST CAT is officially becoming part of our show weekends whenever it's offered.

Another two CM points, a Group 2, two FAST CAT runs, and a whole lot of fun. I'd say Day Two was a pretty great day for Daz! ❤️

So incredibly proud of this boy. On to Day Three! 🐾🏔️

Day ONE in Greeley, Colorado is in the books! 🏔️🐾

What a fun first day for Daz at the Greeley dog show cluster!

🏆 Show 1: Daz took Best of Breed under judge Cynthia Hutt, with breed competition! That earned him another point toward his CM! ❤️ 44 dogs in this show!

🏆 Show 2: Daz took Best of Opposite S*x behind the beautiful Maslina. And Maslina absolutely BLEW OUR MINDS by going on to take BEST IN OPEN SHOW awarded by Judge Claudia Miller!! 🎉🎉🎉 What an incredible win for Marlo Vandiver and Pine Spring Kennel !! 47 dogs in this show!

But conformation wasn't the only fun Daz had today...

💨 Daz tried FAST CAT for the very first time! 💨

And he had an absolute BLAST! 😂 I think we may have found ourselves another dog sport. We will definitely be adding FAST CAT runs to our show days whenever they're offered!

Between another CM point, some great competition, cheering on Maslina's HUGE win, and discovering how much Daz loves to RUN, I'd say Day One in Greeley was a pretty fantastic day! ❤️🐾
