Fospice care is when a rescue pet has such significant medical issues that they can not be adopted. Meet Aiden! His back issues will never go away but he has a loving foster home committed to keeping him safe and RHS is committed to his medical needs (including chiropractic care) for his lifetime, but you can imagine the costs involved.

Please consider making a donation to RHS on North Texas Giving Day. Our goal is $26,000 in 2026, and every penny goes directly to the care of the pets in our program.

Meet Ross! He’s absolutely perfect - loves kids, loves adults, loves dogs, walks well on a leash, is housetrained, crate trained and all the things. Shockingly, this gorgeous ball of fluff has been waiting over a FULL YEAR for his fur-ever home. As you can imagine, his care costs add up every day he’s in our program. RHS will keep working and trying and caring for him until family finds him, but we need your help.

Whether a pet weighs 5lbs or 105lbs, they all need veterinary care, quality food and day-to-day supplies and that costs money. RHS's adoption fee covers only a small portion of those expenses and we rely on donations to make up the difference.
