Ducky was born missing the bottom half of one of her back legs! We are getting her a prosthetic to help her posture and mobility and prevent her stub from dragging and getting painful or sores! We got her prototype but Jaron from Infinitely Able Pets Orthotics & Prosthetics needs to see her in person to make the best possible grow with her option! Good news! He’s coming next Tuesday and Southern Orthocare has graciously agreed to allow him to work from their facility to do it for her, Pris and our horse friend Anne Bonnie!

We are still $800 short of our goal to Get ducky running! Anything helps!!!

Update!!! They found a forever home and are going home tomorrow 💕💕💕

Pebbles and Pepper NEED an adopter like yesterday!
They can’t grow up in the pet store (even though they love the staff). They need a home of their own and people to love them!!

The adoption fee for BOTH girls will be 100 to keep them together because at this point they are truly bonded. 💕

Guess what’s happening next week?! Ducky is getting her prosthetic!! And Priscilla is getting hers finished too! Neither of our girls are normal so Jaron from Infinitely Able Pets Orthotics & Prosthetics is coming to town to do theirs and Anne Bonnie’s leg from East Tennessee Miniature Horse and Donkey Rescue in a lab here local to us!

Life has been crazy lately around here and this has snuck up on us! But we need to fundraise to get ducky’s leg covered!!! She will need a final one once’s she full grown but hopefully we can get one to grow with her as best as possible until then!!

Ranger is still looking for his forever home!!

He his approx 5-6 months
38 lbs
Retriever mix with Webbed feet
He knows how to sit
He knows how to cuddle
He walks well on a leash
He likes to go for car rides
He’s good with other animals and kids
He is doing great with potty training
He’s not an overly crazy hyperactive puppy.. he’s got a calm nature about him and is equal amounts lounger!

Leon had a rough start to life… he lost vision In one eye due to a horrible URI on intake and now has permanent scarring leaving him visually impaired. Leon was adopted a little over a month ago.

We do our best to place animals with families we think will care for them, and unfortunately it doesn’t always work out like that. This 5 month old kitten was found over 4 miles away with a broken leg. The upside to this story he wandered his way to an amazing family who took him to the vet, found out he was microchipped and even Paid for all of his treatment today 😭. Like seriously the nicest people ever! But we also learned Leon may now be FIV positive (we will retest him after 6 months to ensure it’s not a false positive with maternal antibodies) While this may deter some future adopters it is very much not life threatening and in a friendly cat household has almost a 0% chance of transmission!!

Leon will have a fairly long recovery and we will be monitoring his leg break for proper healing. He will need to go to the vet every 1-2 weeks depending how he does with his casting. Despite it all this guy is nothing but LOVE!!! 💕 he loves to cuddle and purr and be held.. He also LOVES dogs, like seriously obsessed and will cuddle with them if they allow it!
