Today our goal is to raise $1000 to go towards Francis’s hospital bill. We are helping Fonzy's Farm to fund raise for this expense.

When I saw Francis and her little family at Bowie the day, I went to pick up the baby Donkeys I really wanted to help them. However, we didn’t have space to take them in. I shared their video with Melissa and she wanted to help all three of them. Francis is approximately 25 years old and she did not deserve to be dumped at Bowie in this condition. Extremely emaciated and lack of care has landed her in the hospital with slight pneumonia and sand in her belly amongst other things. We’ve nicknamed her Granny Franny and she definitely deserves to have all of the love and care that we can give.

Precious Francis of Fonzy's Farm is at Weatherford Equine Hospital. I will post a link to Melissa‘s fundraiser. We thought it was cute (because she’s approximately 25 years old) to call her Granny Franny. She was a perfect angel through the whole exam and treatment while we were there. Her previous owners really did fail her, taking her to Bowie to dump their problems on other people while receiving payment for their three mini ponies instead of taking care of them. However, we don’t know their situation so it is hard to judge those families that take their animals to k*ll pens. She is receiving the best of care possible and we’re hoping that after the test results come back on Thursday that a treatment plan can be made and she can come back home, but she could possibly need to stay through Friday.
