When your kids are cute but you’re over it.

When the Pacific Northwest decides it's summer, the dogs have their own way of beating the heat. 💦☀️

This DIY PVC sprinkler has become one of the most popular attractions at the rescue. The puppies and dogs spend hours running through it, chasing the streams, and trying their absolute best to bite the water.

The best part? It's sturdy enough to survive large-breed dogs, including German Shepherds. The teeth marks are proof. 😆

Not every German Shepherd puppy is a whirlwind of chaos.

Some, like Ronan, seem to have gotten a head start on growing up.

Born October 15, 2025, Ronan already rides well in the car, sleeps quietly in his crate through the night, and gets along great with other dogs. He's still very much a puppy—with plenty of curiosity, energy, and enthusiasm for life—but he's already showing the kind of temperament that makes people fall in love with the breed.

He's happy to join whatever adventure comes next, whether that's a walk around the neighborhood, a weekend road trip, or simply hanging out with his people at the end of the day.

Ronan isn't looking for just any home. He's looking for a family ready to continue building on the solid foundation he already has and help him become the incredible adult dog he's well on his way to being.
