*** HAPPY UPDATE***
Her family has been found and they are on their way to pick her up!!!

FOUND ***
This little girl was just picked up at the intersection of Hwy 183 S and 239 E and 2441, just outside Goliad, Tx. She was running on 239 E then crossed Hwy 183 and kept running down 2441. Her Rabies tag is from McAda Vet Clinic in Halletsville. If this is your dog or you know where she belongs, please call me at (361) 894-2591. You will need to confirm the year and tag number on the rabies tag to claim. She is super sweet, very clean, and in great condition. Thank goodness Debbie picked her up and saved her life on this redemptive day of Good Friday! Now, let’s get her back home where she belongs!

ADULT PEAFOWL RESCUE
We are going to be taking in several beautiful adult peafowl in the next few days. We’d love to arrange adoptive homes for them now so that we don’t have to stress them by moving them twice. These birds will have to be securely housed for at least several months so that they learn that they have a new home. If you are able to adopt adult peafowl, please contact Mary at 361.960.9170.

Big news for South Texas

P.A.A.C. – People Assisting Animal Control has been selected as part of the Texas Department of State Health Services Spay & Neuter Program (TxSNP). 🐾

This funding means more access to care for the pets and families who need it most.

With this support, PAAC will:
• Expand spay and neuter services across multiple counties
• Reach underserved and rural communities
• Help reduce the number of animals entering shelters

There is a significant need for our services in the South Texas area, and we will not stop offering our services locally in the Coastal Bend and the Rio Grande Valley. We will update the community when the grant is available with details. Stay tuned!!

We are grateful to be part of this statewide effort and proud to continue this work.
