Update: Millie has been located and is safe and unharmed! 💛

Thank you to everyone who has been keeping an eye out, sharing her information, and helped us get Millie home. We appreciate this community so much!

Millie is a 40-pound tan and white mix breed who went missing on November 1st around 9:30AM off of SW 43rd Street.

She is extremely people shy so if seen, please DO NOT CALL, CHASE, OR FOLLOW as SHE WILL RUN!

If seen, please IGNORE her and report all sightings by calling 541-923-0882 with the date, time, exact location (GPS coordinates, map pin, address, cross streets, or landmark), and direction of travel.

Thank you for helping bring Millie home!

We have reviewed the evidence and determined that not adopting a sweet senior dog as perfect and loving as Daisy has to be a crime... So straight to jail for everyone who met Daisy and didn’t take her home. 🚔🚨

Don’t let this criminally cute girl spend another day without a family!

Ouzo says trick or treat… but preferably just treats, please! This big boy is VERY serious about his snacks! 🎃🦴Ouzo and all of our pups have a little Halloween wish! We’re running low on some of their favorite goodies and could use a little help restocking our treat stash. If you’re out and about this Halloween, consider dropping off some of their favorites: dog treats, bully sticks, and chew treats! Staying in this Halloween to avoid any tricks? You can send treats directly to the shelter by shopping our wishlist at: https://brightsideanimals.org/wishlist/

Ouzo says thank you, and promises to put those treats to VERY good use! 🧡

They really don’t make ’em like Jimmy anymore. He is truly a rare model. His eating habits are questionable, his snoring is a public disturbance, he prefers naps over company, and his walking style is entirely his own… but who wants boring anyway?!

Think you can handle all of this? Then head to BrightSide! Jimmy will happily be napping away the day while he waits for you!

A microchip is only the size of a grain of rice, but it can make a big difference if a pet ever gets lost. Microchips can quickly help reunite lost pets with their families, which is why every pet adopted from BrightSide goes home with one as part of the adoption process!

The Veterinary Referral Center is helping make that happen by generously covering the cost of microchips for our shelter pets! We’re so thankful to have their support in making sure our animals have this important layer of protection and owners have some peace of mind before heading off to their next adventure.

Please join us in thanking Veterinary Referral Center of Central Oregon for helping keep pets safe! 🩵

We heard it’s REALLY cool to have a big white fluffy dog right now thanks to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce! 🤍💍 And we just happen to have almost a whole sled dog team of floofs right here at BrightSide. Meet Maya, Red, Remi, Mama Snow, and Nanook! They are all looking for their own love story!
