Meet Bonnie!

Bonnie is an 11 year old Chihuahua Mix that was presented to us with a non-healing wound on her back in April of this year. At her initial visit, we examined Bonnie and cultured her wound. Once this culture was complete and she had been treated with antibiotics, it was ultimately decided that Bonnie would still need to have reconstructive surgery. Surgery was completed one month after our initial meeting with Bonnie.

In the end, Bonnie received 2 surgeries, 2 cultures, 3 antibiotic changes, 1 biopsy, countless bandages, and 5 months of wound care. Thanks to her Momma's dedication and love, Bonnie is back to being her healthy cutie-pie self!

Did you know that Dr. Townsell is a certified Cat Friendly Veterinarian? Our additional insight into cat- specific behaviors and needs makes vet visits easier and happier for your cat. . . and for you!

Our team is trained in low stress handling. We take the time and care to make sure every cat gets the individualize attention they deserve. We have also remodeled our clinic with cats in mind.
We use Feliway in our exam rooms, selected wall colors that are calm and soothing and have kitty cubbies to help provide a comfy resting place. And we have Churus! Lots and lots of Churu treats!
