These are our yearlings available in Redding, California. Offspring of Washington of Genesis, Will's Red Rocket and Nordwind MDH. We are proud of what our mares produce!!!! Nordwind MDH is a gelding now (castrated last October 2025). He is in full time training with Dana Beckner in Cottonwood. She is doing a fantastic job with him. He has around 18 rides in this restart (as of today 7/10/26) So Nerd (barn name and yes, it fits) is an athletic horse but very laid back. He will give what is asked but is NOT a horse you want if your after speed and quick reactions. He came to me in December of his 3 year old year with supposedly some driving training. Didn't see much of that training in him when we did groundwork. Immediately sent him off for basic riding training to get his brain focused on working. But, he was a breeding stallion and due to health/family issues he did NOTHING but be a breeding stallion for two years. Now, he is a gelding. Not because his foals are not gorgeous, but just because I'm cutting back on breeding. Nerd is 7 years old, has been a gelding for 10 months and knows it. He is has been stalled and pastured with other geldings and gets along well. He will STAY in training with Dana (paid up until early August and she would like to keep working with him) the goal is to make him into a solid arena and trail horse. Come and meet him now as get to know him to see if he would fit into your life as a lovely partner. Price is reasonable for a healthy, sound, green broke riding horse. It will change as he learns. He has a solid walk, trot, canter and whoa. The focus is on his learning all the basics of gate work, leg work, seat response and soft willing face. He is being trained for self carriage and balanced movement. Nerd stands 14.2 hands and is the son of NORDTIROL and out of Arena TOF (Winterstein daughter). This horse is royally bred of imported Austrian stock. He was an easy to handle stallion all his early life. Now he will be a fantastic riding partner for someone looking to own a golden lifetime haflinger friend.

I am sad to report the passing of a fantastic haflinger mare. C-Lightning LE-LA born 2/4/1998 and passed 6/11/2026. This mare was the star of many exhibitions, team pennings, shows, parades, beginner lessons, therapeutic rides, summer camps at Woodside Junior Riders and just recently the Redding Rodeo Kids day. Her barn name was Cinnamon and she and her full sister Copper are the horses that showed me how absolutely fantastic the haflinger horses are. She has some amazing offspring that will carry on her spectacular attitude and athletic ability. Cinnamon was 14 hands of solid gold.

Topaz has begun our miniature foal season (ours is really late this year!)
Meet Panther. He is an all black c**t with striped hooves so he may color out Appaloosa like his dad Apollo.
