From Beg Novice to FEI in 14 months... Maccan finished 9th in the CCI1 division at Tryon. Not only his first FEI, but his first Tryon experience. Maccan was Maccan, he was all heart all weekend.
I can't wait to see where he is in another 14 months. Sky is the limit for this big guy.. literally! I think he cleared the standards a few times in SJ. 🫣🤩🦄💙
Thank you to my mom, who is always there to support me, even when she has to travel across the country on Mother's Day to do so. 🩷

Geluk won the open prelim division last weekend in Ocala! 🏆He led after dressage with a score of 23.3, and maintained his 1st place adding only a few time penalties on the xc. He felt great from start to finish and is regaining his fitness and strength! 🦄💙🥇

Maccan was super in the modified, jumped a VERY clear show jumping round, and was very clever around the xc for his second outing at the level.. unfortunately there was some discussion about the trakehner which added some jump penalties to our score. But he finished strong and confident, and will no doubt carry forward this educational run in a positive way! 🐴🧡

Maccan DDH cruised around his first modified last weekend at Florida Horse Park, the more challenging the courses get, the more game he is. He added only a few time penalties to his dressage score to finish 6th.

And my heart was filled with happiness to have Geluk HVF back on course again. After a very inconsistent 2024 season at the Intermediate/3* level, Geluk went for a bonescan last November, where we discovered he had a compression fracture in his back and some remodeling in some of his neck vertebraes.. no idea when or how he injured himself. But I do know he was a trooper last year to keep going with some significant injuries.
Geluk was given 4 months off from jumping and hard work. After having a few jump schools, I decided to enter him in the modified last weekend and he felt so happy in both mind and body to be back at his job, and added just a few time penalties to his stellar dressage score. Beyond grateful to have my special stallion back. 💙🧡🐴

HVF had a great, confidence building day at the Majestic 3 phase this week between all our horse/rider partnerships.
Galina and Ineke HVF and Reagan and Ice Cream keep building their relationships together and it showed all day long🤗🦄
I had the pleasure of riding Gelesi and Mr. Daily, owned by Marian, in the dressage rings and Hertzen HVF and Maccan in the 3 phase.
Huge thank you to Galina for all your help, couldn't have done it without you! And to Dana, for bringing all the yummy snacks to keep us going!
