🙏For those of you joining us, here are some things we ask of you to help things run smoothly:

🔸arrive early, pick up your numbers at the ingate and sign up in the order
🔸organize your coggins BEFORE your show day (preferably not at midnight 🤨) the easiest is to upload your coggins to Ring Radar (then we have it saved there until it expires and you don’t have to keep doing it every show) OR have your event pass QR code ready OR email it to [email protected] (do not send it to [email protected])
🔸be sure to have been taking your horse’s temperatures, as we will be asking for them when you check in and sign a health declaration
🔸if you have multiple horses in a class plan ahead and be ready to go early in order on your first horse
🔸we cannot hold the gate, if you cannot make your spot let us know early so we can make adjustments
🔸if you are not ready by the end of the class we will likely have to close you out
🔸Scratches are not refunded, let us know early if you don’t plan on coming so we can try and sell you entry to someone that might be waitlisted
🔸make sure digital waivers are signed for riders, trainers, AND owners

Sweet Dixie is so excited to host such an incredible competition!!! March 12-14th 2026

The World Horseshoeing Classic has had a few teams that have gone back to back, which is harder to do than you think. March 12th through the 14th at Sweet Dixie South in Reddick, Florida. Hunter shoeing, Roadster shoeing, and Draft shoeing. A four person team with each competitor responsible for their foot from start to finish. call to enter 505-281-8982

How can you help things run smoothly and organized?
Ahead of time,
⚕️Upload your coggins to RingRadar, it will be saved there for all future events until your coggins expires. If you are having trouble with the, email your coggins to [email protected] or make sure to have your EquiTrace QR code ready to be scanned.
✍️make sure to sign ALL waivers that will be emailed from RingRadar. We collect waivers for all riders, owners, and trainers. If you are not entered, but are riding a horse on property or warming one up for someone, please see personell at the ingate to sign a waiver before getting on.
🦠we are collecting health declarations from all horses to be filled out and signed at the ingate. We will be asking you to declare your EHV vaccines are up to date (within the last 6 months), and to fill out your horse’s temperature, and that they have been healthy and not showing any signs of illness.

We are so thankful for your continued support of our local show, and how much it has grown over the past 6 years thanks to ya’ll.
For those of you that don’t know, LCT started around a Thanksgiving table amongst good friends, so this holiday will always be a little extra special for us 🧡

March 12-14 the WCB will be held at Sweet Dixie South!!!

We have good, great, and better news. The Horseshoeing Classic has moved its venue to a warmer location. It will be in Reddick, Florida at Sweet Dixie South owners Mike and Dawn Campbell with the help of Susannah and Jon Johnson. at the request of foreign competitors we put the date on March 12th through the 14th so if there are any teams that might be coming to the AFA convention it could be rolled all into one trip. Our Judges will be Carl Via of Mineral, Virginia and Bodie Trnka of Jordan, Minnesota. What a great way of busting up lasts years winning team.

A four man team and each member will shoe their corner of the foot from start to finish. 3 days with a different discipline each day. Hunter shoeing with tooled and fullered, chalk and wedge behind. Roadster shoeing with front bevels with a bob punch from and a 3/4 fullered, toe clipped, roadster behind. Draft shoeing with Agricultural heels, 3/4 fullered, toe clipped. 2 1/2 hours each day.

We will get a host hotel ASAP and are looking forward to putting on one of the greatest learning experiences in the farrier industry.
