Finally weaning the last litters from this group of NZ juniors! They're NOT cooperating but I'll have pictures at some point 😅.

If there's anything in particular you're looking for, send a message ASAP! We're culling this weekend. But I could set a junior or two aside if there's interest! I can say that I do not have enough consistency in weights currently to make any more market pens. I could possibly figure out some single fryers or roasters. If you need a last-minute market project!

I'm holding back 10 Jr. Does and possibly a buck from these litters. I definitely don't have cage space for that many more NZ 😅. So expect a handful of these keeper does and a few brood does to be available in the next few months!

I do have 2 more NZ does and a Jersey due next week. And a handful of does on my show string that are reaching 9-10 months old. On top of my pelt mutt doe bred and 2 Jerseys that will be bred right after MFF.
Because of this, I simply don't have the cage space to hold on to sale rabbits. About 90% of my litters recently have gone into the freezer by 10 weeks old. So, if you want NZ, contact me ahead of time! There may be a wait, but it'll ensure I don't cull something that you would potentially be interested in!

No rest for the wicked. Returned home from fair yesterday and spent an hour today cleaning cages and washing water crocks. In the dwarf/harlequin division this is a frequent task. The water crocks are typically twice a week ESPECIALLY in weather like this.

Below is a picture of a water crock that was brought to fair. To be clear NOT ANYONE IN THE TNC RABBITRY!

So......if your water crock or bottle looks like below.....this is your reminder to CLEAN IT NOW! Would you drink out of this? I know I wouldn't. And I wouldn't want an animal of mine to drink from it either. Their healthy and safety depends on it!

Day.9.....
Step 1. exit the nestbox.
Step 2. Sit on resting mat as if you are homeless and desolate.
Step 3. Get placed back in nesting box by the landlord. Aka me.
Step 4. Tell your siblings about your adventures.
Step 5. Find other 2 babies doing the same thing. Also put back in nest box.

Annnnnnnd repeat.

I looked allllllll over and somehow the little turd was on the stupid floor in a drain opening that luckily is capped and hasn't been used in years. 100% unharmed and snuggled up asleep 🙄 popped that child back into the nest and all has been well since. Stupid rabbits making me panic. Might name that child Houdini 🤔 😅
