We just received these life jackets from chesapeake_baydog. Wow the quality of these are excellent. May is wearing a small in orange and fits great. If you spend time on the water, this is the jacket to have.

This is our Brembo, the head of our logo.

In the obedience competition world he is a bit of a celebrity, known for his happy demeanor and being handsome.

Brembo is now the top ranked AKC obedience American Staffordshire Terrier ever to have competed. The previous dog held the record for a couple of decades. Brembo is still actively competing, so we will see what other accomplishments he will attain.

Farmina has announced a price increase starting on June 1st. This is a fairly substantial increase, ranging from 8-20% on all products. Make sure you stock up before the increase goes in effect.

Farmina believes this will be temporary as they bring up their new production plant in North Carolina.

Not gonna lie. This new plush toy from Multipet International, Inc. is adorable. This highland cow is 15” tall, so it is good sized. Not for the destructive dogs though.

Ticks. Everyone hates them, except maybe guinea fowl.

They are already out this year so it’s time to start thinking about prevention.

There are pesticide based, isoxazoline based, essential oil based, ultrasonic and amber based products on the market. What you use depends on the risk of exposure to the animal. The stronger the prevention method, the greater the potential for side effects.

We carry Wondercide, which is the strongest natural product. We also carry Tickless ultrasonic tags. These products are 90-95% effective, so we do spot check.

Ensure that you do something for tick prevention.

Titan red feeders can switch over to Midwest Legacy Beef 80.10.10 or BLT + Bone.

Titan blue feeders can switch over to Midwest Legacy Beef Herring & Beef or Polluck & Beef.

All the beef is from Wisconsin dairy farms (no 4D), blended in Iowa and shipped to us. The fish is sourced from Lake Michigan.
