A new beginner obedience class started last week. A couple of our families are repeating the class with another family member handling the dog. This makes my heart so happy. What’s even better? This 10 year old girl training her puppy. She’s got one amazing mom. Fletcher is destined to be that dog she remembers for the rest of her life. 🥰🥰🥰

Board & Train. A good program will give you updates daily. I love that people trust me with their dogs. It’s peace of mind to see daily videos and/or photos so owners know their dog is well cared for while away. Every dog has a special YouTube playlist for the duration of their stay.

Maizie has been a joy while here. She’s treated like one of my own dogs. This is why I only take one board & train at a time.

6 weeks. You can see progress in just 6 weeks if you commit to the training and do the work. This class is truly a unicorn class. We had a group of young dogs with no real issues with behavior. I cannot remember the last time with did a beginner class group picture with some of the dogs in SIT STAYS! And what you cannot see in this picture is a giant group of people behind the camera 15 feet away. 🥰

Ask any of these owners if their dogs could have done this 6 weeks ago? Look at them now! Class of 2025! This one is gonna be hard to beat.

So proud of this team! I wish I had videoed their entrance last week. Bodie was pulling, barking and paid zero attention to Laura. She was frustrated with previous training so came here for help. Bodie is a lovely little dog with a dedicated owner. Look at that loose leash walking just one week after long line work.

All teams passed their AKC CGC & CGCA tests tonight. Some tested for UKC SPOT and passed that too. Pass rate: 💯
We had a lot of fun and overheard some compliments about the well-trained group of dogs. Thanks to Sportmans Warehouse for granting permission to let us test there!

Look at these dogs in our prep school program! We have posted pictures before of then all placed on Klimbs. They turn out awesome. Most people do not realize the dogs in front have to have a solid stay, which is a more difficult skill. We worked a combo of sit, down and stand stay for our front row dogs with more training. I am so proud of these dogs and the dedication their owners have sending then here and attending classes. Do the work and you'll see the results.

4 of 10 dogs in the beginner obedience class are also in prep school. So far we have began learning attention, loose leash walking, sit & place. These kids are ready to do great at school tonight!

Macy is here for a short two week stay. She’s a firecracker in some ways but needs lots of confidence, especially on surfaces. I adore this little lab. She’s a perfect size and I’m delighted to work with her for the next two weeks.

I cannot wait for consistent nice weather! We work outside every chance we get. Today I sprung a field trip on my 11:30am class. We went to the baseball field to work obedience. You must get your dog out to acclimate them to new surroundings. The work done inside the training building should carry over to the real world. Don't box your dog in and help them flourish in life. There's nothing better than a trustworthy companion (at least that's what your dog hopes for).

Whenever possible I take my clients outside to work. It's here I can see what has been done and what needs to be worked on. It's a real discomfort zone for s...

We can make your dreams come true for a nice walk on leash. We work outside every chance we get. Limiting your training inside of a building will not yield real life results.

Many of these dogs started off pulling, barking and lunging on leash when they began training with us. Nothing is holding you back, except putting in the dedication to train your dog. I am so proud of my students (2 and 4 legged). Take the time and invest in your dog. It’s worth it!
