🐾❤️ Happy National Dog Day! ❤️🐾
Today we celebrate our furry best friends who bring us endless love, laughter, and loyalty. From wagging tails to sloppy kisses, dogs make life so much sweeter! 🐶✨
One of the best ways we can show our pups love is by keeping them happy, healthy, and protected. 🩺💉 Vaccines protect against dangerous diseases like parvo, distemper, and rabies—helping our dogs live long, tail-wagging lives. 🐕💖
So today, give your dog some extra cuddles, treats, and maybe even schedule that vet check-up! 🐾

Darlyn is our good girl of the week! Darlyn is a sweet golden doodle puppy who is not afraid of being over dressed for any occasion! We have had the pleasure of watching her grow since she came in with her litter for her first vaccines. Isn’t she a little bitty pretty one?

GOOD BOY OF THE WEEK-Everyone meet Diesel! Diesel is a 7 month old Perro de Presa Canario (AKA Canary Dog) that underwent an invasive procedure with us a few days ago, and this is him the morning after soaking up some rays. He is a gentle giant that is only going to get bigger, but his goofy/sweet personality is what really makes him stand out. His family is so happy to have him in their lives, and we hope he continues to bring joy and laughter to those he encounters. If you look closely, he’s flashing his pearly whites, and his smile is one of the sweetest we’ve seen!😃🐶
And thank you to Dr. Buchanan for using meticulous planning and skilled ex*****on for this desired outcome!

This week’s good boy is Otis! Otis came to see us following an unfortunate encounter with a snake🐍 Aside from his poor swollen face, Otis was in excellent spirits while he was hospitalized at the clinic! Otis may be a little shy but he was the sweetest boy in spite of the circumstances 🐾 We are thankful he has an owner that responded quickly and that we were able to help him out. 💗
We are thankful for veterinary medical products that allow us to help patients in situations like this. Despite not seeing what kind of snake it was, we were able to offer treatment using rattler antivenom which neutralizes venom from rattlesnakes, copperheads, and water moccasins. We are so glad Otis is on his way to recovery!

Delta is doing her part to stay safe when it comes to rabies exposure! There was a recent confirmed case of rabies in a raccoon reported in Leon county. Do your part to avoid potential exposure so you and your pets stay off any bitin’ lists!

We wanted to take time to highlight a good boy or good girl of the week that we see here at the clinic each week. Winnie is our very first good girl of the week! Winnie was recently diagnosed with a rare form of lymphoma and she has been such a brave girl during her appointments and her treatment today! When she’s not busy being a beauty queen, Winnie loves to play with her toys and wrestle with her little brother Anakin. She is known by many silly nicknames including but not limited to: Winifred, We**ie, We**ie bo beanie, Teeny eeny, and Weiner.
