Summer is upon us, so you’ll want to make sure your dog is well vaccinated. Rabies and distemper are the most common core vaccines, but have you considered the Lyme vaccine and the Lepto vaccine? If your dog spends any time outside, these are highly recommended!

Lyme vaccine: Lyme is transmitted through infected ticks. This vaccine prevents against Lyme Disease.
Lepto (leptospirosis) vaccine: Lepto is a bacterial infection found in soil and water, mainly found in puddles, streams, and anywhere with woodland animals.

Good morning. I had to share this adorable picture . Miss Sandy here is a seasoned sock eater. Luckily she has always passed them with out problems. When she started vomiting last week we tried supporting her with fluids in the hope this “ sock” would follow the drill and move through. The decision was made to take Sandy to surgery as no progress was made with support care.
Surprise!!!! We found an Octopus 🐙 toy.
When your pet pulls a piece off a toy… toss the toy.

Sandy is doing great! She was a Trooper the entire time. The Octopus is in the lower left of the picture … it was a stuffed cloth toy.

Meet Tonka - a 15 year old black lab who is LOVING her Librela shots! She used to have trouble going up stairs and needed help getting into the car. After her Librela shot, she’s doing steps great and even jumped up into the front seat of the Owners car on her way to the clinic today!

Bruno is the best! A dog came on for an emergency today. She was severely anemic, and needed a blood transfusion. One of our technicians had a dog willing to oblige, so about 450mL of blood was taken from his jugular. That would fill up about a half liter of Pepsi.
