Available for adoption: Apollo. He is about 1.5-2 years old, neutered and fully vaccinated. Apollo is sweet as can be and a very low key, easy maintenance guy. He was constantly being beat up by other cats in his old home, so we took him in to find his forever home. Apollo is timid around other cats, he’s best suited for a quiet, only cat household. If you’re looking for a lap cat who just wants snuggles, this is your guy. Reach out if you’re interested! 717-999-7455

Available for adoption: Sweet Piper! Piper might be one of the sweetest kitties to date. She is approximately 3 months old, and a HUGE love bug! She is always playing and has the loudest purr you’ve ever heard. Wherever she goes, she’ll need to be treated like a little Princess because she has gotten used to being very spoiled. Piper has trauma to her right eye, leaving her partially blind. It has a grey veil over it, but it doesn’t bother her at all and at this time and isn’t painful. She is spayed, has her first FVRCP, is flea treated and dewormed. Reach out if you’re interested in adding a Princess to your family!

Quarryville Veterinary Center had a successful TNR day Sunday Nov 23. 5 females were spayed and 10 male cats were neutered. All the cats received a rabies vaccination and FVRCP. Each cat was dewormed and treated for fleas and ticks.

Quarryville Veterinary Staff and myself are extremely concerned about the stray / feral cats in our neighborhoods as in colonies at farms. We want to help people who care for these animals by getting the cats spayed/neutered as well as vaccinated for RABIES which is everywhere in Pennsylvania.

This past Sunday morning 5 staff members joined me in treating the cats brought in for care. My staff was paid for their time. Anesthetic medications , vaccinations, surgical supplies, dewormer, flea /tick medications were purchased by Quarryville Vet. The care givers of the cats paid $75 which helps to cover in part the treatment provided.

We are excited to announce we have started the Quarryville Veterinary Foundation. It is a 501 c3, created to help provide care for FERAL cats and hopefully in the future make small monetary contributions to care for pets of families with limited resources.

As we enter the holiday season, anyone interested in donating to the foundation we ask for your help. Donations are tax deductible.
Please call our office or email at [email protected] for information.

Happy Holidays!
