a 4‑year‑old sweetheart with stunning coloring, a silly personality, and a heart full of love.** He’s cuddly, playful, smart, and absolutely devoted to his people once he feels safe.

Oz loves playing with his toys, being goofy, and showing off his tricks — he knows sit, lay down, roll over, and wait. He’s housebroken and even has an adorable little “potty trot” to let you know when he needs to go.

He can be timid with new people at first, but with patience (and treats!) he warms up beautifully. Once he trusts you, he’s all in — affection, loyalty, and endless snuggles.

Oz prefers to be the *only furry apple of your eye, so he’s looking for a home with no other dogs or cats.* He also has a firm “no thanks” policy on crating, but he’s proven he can be trusted with free rein of the house.

Meet our Dog of the Week... PICKLES! Pickles came to PRA after his owner passed away, and this sweet six‑year‑old cattle dog mix has been looking for someone to love ever since. He has so much love to give — truly the definition of a loyal, affectionate best friend. ❤️‍🩹

Pickles is fully housetrained, great in the car, and happiest when he’s right beside his people soaking up attention. If you want a dog who will adore you, stay by your side, and make you feel chosen every single day, Pickles is your guy.

He’s non‑destructive, well‑behaved in the home, and crate trained. His energy level is generally low to medium depending on the day. Pickles enjoys his walks and does best on a harness. 🐾

Pickles would love a fenced yard. He can live with another dog, but he does best with larger, easygoing, confident dogs who aren’t bothered by an enthusiastic friend and can help him feel secure during proper introductions.

He’s fostered with children and absolutely adores them, but because he can get excited and jump, we recommend a home with older kids (8+).

Pickles is fully vetted, approximately 65 pounds, and doing well on hip and joint supplements. He is a huge cuddle bug — affectionate, gentle, and happiest when he’s included in your life and routine.
