Helpful calcium tips for during and after for whelping mommas!

Our goal here at Start to Finish Whelping is to help others while also taking time everyday to educate for self growth and betterment of my services!

I am not out here trying to the best but I am trying to be the best I can be!!

There's a lot of misinformation about the best source of calcium and not much about how much to give during whelping

Bitter sweet… sending our puppy clients back to their hoomans! 😂

But we couldn’t do it empty handed! So the idea popped into my head today and I did what I could on such short notice!

I think I am ❤️ love ❤️ with idea.

Alright everyone!!

What do you do when your momma dog decides she doesn’t want kibble, wet food, freeze dried, her normal food, fresh pet, and even snubbed some rice and chicken!

Her health is good… she’s just being super picky!

Tell me what you have done in this situation, if you have had it happen to you!

Sometimes part of working with your puppies to set them up for success is desensitizing them!

So today everyone got a lil soak and a good b***y scrub (mom isn’t doing good at cleaning booties). It was crazy how fast they settled and loved it!!

Shampoo that we used was the baby shampoo for sensitive skin by The Honest company!!

I loved it!

Thank you Schmidt for coming through and grabbing a reverse for Caddierson.

She is only at a 4.1 so we still have time to wait!

She will pull blood again tomorrow and run another Reverse.

I chose to do a C-section for this girl and be planned out as she’s pretty big and I don’t want any complications.

Fingers crossed we go tomorrow!
