Your self-serve bath comes with a couple different types of shampoos. We have forced air dryers that you can use to dry your dog and blow out their coats provided they will tolerate it. Also, please bring a towel if you want to bypass the $3 towel fee. Last dog in an hour before closing please!

We are waging war!

From now until Sept 10th 2026 we will offer free flea and tick shampoo upgrade. Best part you leave the dead ones here and we clean the mess.

Don’t have time to get rid of the bugs? Call us for an appt and us groomers will help eradicate them.

Wash the Dog is small business in the heart of Downtown Puyallup. Located at 115 W Meeker.

We offer self wash and we also do full service grooming.

What’s sets us apart? Well we do one on one grooming. We have dogs rotate in and out throughout the day. This allows for us to give that one on one attention to your dog which focuses on a better relationship with your pet. It offers less stress for both you and your dog. There is no drop off and leave the dog for 8 hours. We have a schedule set up and service multiple households throughout the day. Each groomer handles one dog from start to finish and in some cases 2 of us on one dog that may have health issues or just needs that extra tlc during the groom. We are a small business that strives for quality over quantity when it comes to full service grooming. And our self wash always has an attendant ready to help make sure your experience is a good one.

Why choose us over a corporate ran store? Well they don’t care about you or your pet. They have policies in place and do not take in to account for individual dog needs. Lastly many corporate self washes do not have an attendant and Do NOT clean between each dog.

We literally take care of the mess!
