This was a heartbreaking post I read. Please do better with your children. Teach discipline, empathy, love, respect, patience, understanding, communication, etc. Those poor goslings didn’t deserve what happened, the lasting effects, if any, let alone the distraught parents. Many people don’t understand the dynamics of bird relations. They mate for life, and are extremely protective of their young. They feel and grieve. My heart breaks for the parent geese that lost their young to indisciplined children, and uncaring parents.

Inko has been picked up and will be returning to his home at the shop. I cried all the home, as it’s mentally final that he’s truly gone. He will keep his spot that he lived and enjoyed, including being the spotlight from so many people that had been fascinated by him for almost a decade, including being a spotlight to educate people regarding birds and bird keeping, as well as fears many people have regarding birds.

Inko…. I love you, and may you fly free in the clouds and winds above. You have others that are there to fly with you. 💔

Edit: Inko was dropped off at the vet for a private cremation today. Hopefully they can get his little foot prints. He’ll have a lovely cedar box, with his name engraved, and rested with his favorite toys/bells. Thank you Tahoma Vet for taking care of him and being so compassionate.

With a very heavy heart this morning, I came in to find that Inko passed away around 515am. He was well loved by many for his almost 10 years of life. Fly free my little man. 💔😭🪽

With this recent heat wave, I would like everyone to be rest assured that the shop has a maintained temperature of 64-76, depending on the room, and well within the county licensing guidelines. We love our clients/pets, and it is something of concern every summer that we take seriously.

If you don’t have a/c, and would like to sit and enjoy ours in the lobby, just let your groomer know, and we can accommodate.
