We are a nonprofit rescue group dedicated to finding permanent homes for homeless dogs and cats in Pierce County, Washington. We do not operate out of a shelter, instead we rely on our network of foster homes to care for our animals until they are adopted. ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS
The first step, if you are interested in adopting one of our dogs or cats, is to fill out and submit an adoption application. You can request an application by emailing us. A volunteer will contact you after it has been submitted to speak with you about your application and about the pet you are applying to adopt. If you rent, we require your landlord's permission to adopt a dog or a cat. We require a completely fenced yard to adopt a dog. All adopters must agree to and sign an adoption agreement. We do not adopt out pets as gifts unless the recipient is there to pick out the pet themselves. All pets are spayed or neutered before adoption. ADOPTION FEES
Kittens & adult cats are $175.00
Cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, microchipped, treated for parasites, tested for FIV and Felv, and are given the vaccinations for Feline Rhinotracheitis, Calici Virus, Panleukopenia, and Rabies (If 4 months of age or older). Dogs and Puppies are $300.00 with an additional $50.00 obedience training refundable deposit. When you complete an accredited obedience class with your new dog we will send you back the $50.00 deposit.
