🐾 Volunteers Needed! 🐾

Join us on Thursday, June 25 and Friday, June 26 for our FREE cat spay and neuter clinic in Central Maui!

This clinic plays a critical role in reducing pet overpopulation and preventing the spread of disease in our community. We need caring volunteers to help make it a success.

Volunteer tasks may include:
🐱 Intake & discharge
💻 Data entry
🐱 Moving pets
🧹 Cleaning & sanitizing

Lunch will be provided!

Whether you can help for a few hours or the full day, your support makes a difference for Maui's cats and the people who care for them.

✈️🐾 Mahalo to PEDIGREE Foundation for helping Maui’s dogs take the next step toward a brighter future.

As an island shelter, finding local homes for every animal can be especially challenging. Through their Program Development Grant, PEDIGREE Foundation helps support our Wings of Aloha program, which transports adoptable pets to trusted shelter partners on the continent where they often have access to more adoption opportunities.

Each flight gives homeless animals a chance to find loving families while also creating much-needed space and resources for the pets still waiting for care here at Maui Humane Society.

We are deeply grateful to the PEDIGREE Foundation for helping fund this lifesaving program and for investing in solutions that help more Maui County animals find the homes they deserve. 💙🐾✈️

🐾 45 animals found their forever ‘ohanas this past week! 🏠

31 cats, 11 dogs, 1 turtle, 1 tortoise and 1 guinea pig are now living their best lives in loving homes!🎉

🐾💙 Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing animal dads making a difference in the lives of our shelter pets!

From adopters and fosters to volunteers and Beach Buddies, thank you for the love, patience, belly rubs, and adventures you share with our animals. Every wag, purr, and happy tail is a reminder of the impact you make.

Today, we celebrate all the dads and father figures who have opened their hearts to animals in need. Mahalo for being part of their journey and for giving them the love they deserve. 💙🐶🐱

🎉 We are so happy to share that both Arlo and Aku have been adopted! 💙

Tomorrow, these two boys will be hopping on a plane to begin their new lives with their forever ʻohanas. ✈️🐾

Aloha Kākou, my name is Snow White and I am Maui Humane Society's Pet of the Week! I was found lost in Hāna in February and brought to Maui Humane Society. Sadly, no one ever came looking for me, but I’m hopeful my perfect family is still out there. I may be a little shy when we first meet, but once I feel safe, I’ll happily curl up beside you for couch snuggles and bedtime cuddles. I absolutely love being in a home and have great manners too—I’m potty trained and do wonderfully on car rides. One thing that really helps me feel confident is having other dogs around. I adore canine companionship and would do best in a home with a friendly, confident doggy brother or sister who can show me the ropes. If you’re looking for a little sister for your pup, I'm the girl for you!

Only 10 out of 80 cats came for FREE spay and neuter surgeries today… We still have TWO days left of FREE spay and neuter surgeries in Lahaina, with up to 80 cat surgery spots available each day! We want to make sure these lifesaving opportunities are used by our community.

🐱 Cat surgeries are WALK-IN only — no appointment needed!
🐶 Dog appointments are still available and do require scheduling.
