Check your dog food if you use frozen raw

The United States Food and Drug Administration is warning pet owners to stay away from Performance Dog frozen raw pet food produced on or after July 22, 2019, after a sample tested positive for Salmonella and Listeria monocytogenes.

Many times we do not know the actual birth date of the dogs who come through our doors. This year, we celebrate all dogs with unknown birthdays on Saturday, August 3rd. From 11AM-1PM, you are invited to come down to the shelter to join in the festivities.

“According to a lawsuit filed by California attorney Robert Tauler, Rover has refused to reveal the number of dogs killed or injured while under their dog sitters’ care.

Amy Houston sought out a dog sitter using Rover.com to keep her French bulldog safe while her family held a graduation party. Her dog drowned in the sitter’s pool. Now, she wants Rover to take responsibility.
