Sky is great with kids but should NOT go to a home with other animals inside the house. She does okay with other dogs so long as they are not inside with her. She also knows some basic commands like “sit” and stuff! She’s the sweetest girl! 🫶🏼

Our hearts here at Mercer Co. Animal Shelter are so so warm right now. We are beyond thrilled to announce that four of our residents -- two sets of siblings -- who have been here for a while are getting ADOPTED! 🥹
Shout out to Rex, Stella, Popeye, and Bluto! 🐶🐾
BOTH sets of siblings are being kept together at their new homes. Rex + Stella are being adopted together, and Popeye + Bluto are being adopted together as well. 🏡Two sets of dynamic duos. Two loving furever homes.

We've had an influx in kittens coming through here lately. So if anyone makes donations any time soon, here are some of the things we need and would appreciate most:
Baby blankets, canned kitten food, dry kitten food, and kitten milk.

Today is our last day of the Fall in Love (With a Shelter Pet) Event!
All adoptions are ONLY $10!
We have dogs of ALL ages and sizes -- from puppies to seniors, small to large -- so come on out today and meet them! I guarantee we have whatever you may be looking for in a furever friend. 🐾

Pricing and Hours

Our hours are noon to 6PM Tuesday through Saturday.

Our prices are $115.00 for dogs and $60.00 for cats. This includes to have the animal fixed with pain injection, rabies shot, first set of vaccines, bordatella and dewormed. If the animal is not fixed then it is a $25.00 refundable deposit.
