🐾 Looking for a Forever Home – Meet Harley 🐾
At Doggie Dude Ranch, we know that rehoming a beloved pet is never an easy decision. Sometimes life brings unexpected circumstances, and unfortunately, with local shelters and the Humane Society currently at capacity, families are left searching for other options.
We are always happy to help our clients in finding loving homes for pets in need when we can.
Today, we’d like to introduce you to Harley, a beautiful 3-year-old unaltered German Shepherd who has been staying with us for the past couple of weeks.
Harley can be timid when meeting new people and has a big bark that may make her seem intimidating at first, but underneath it all is a sweet, loving girl who simply needs a little time to trust. Once she feels safe, she opens right up and shows what a wonderful companion she can be.
She appears to be:
* Cat friendly (she walked right up to our shop cat and gave him a kiss on the head!)
* Dog friendly, although she can be selective about which dogs she bonds with.
* In need of some extra groceries—she came to us a bit underweight, and we’re working on getting some healthy weight back on her.
Harley’s past hasn’t always been kind to her. She carries herself like a dog who may have experienced some difficult things, and it looks as though she may have had a litter of puppies at some point in her life. Despite everything, she continues to love with her whole heart.
This sweet girl deserves a family who will be patient with her, give her the time she needs to feel safe, and show her what it means to be truly loved.
