Rainy days call for cozy moments ☔🐾

These two sanctuary sweethearts claimed the best seat in the house, watching the raindrops race down the window while staying warm and dry. There’s just something magical about a quiet, rainy day with a couple of kitties keeping watch over the world outside. 💛

Because of your support, they get to enjoy moments like this—safe, loved, and right where they belong.

There’s nothing quite like a beautiful day at the sanctuary 🌞💛

Our amazing volunteers spent time walking our sweet donkeys around the property, giving them the chance to explore, and soak up the sunshine. These moments mean so much—not just for the donkeys, but for all of us lucky enough to be part of their journey.

Every step taken is filled with trust, care, and love 💕

We couldn’t do this without our dedicated volunteers who show up day after day to make lives better for these incredible animals. Thank you for being their walking partners, their comfort, and their friends.

🐷🌸 Hoppy Easter from our sweet little piggy! 🌸🐷

Someone is feeling extra festive today in her adorable Easter hat… and yes, she knows she’s cute 💁‍♀️🐰

Wishing you all a day filled with sunshine, smiles, and maybe a few extra treats (she fully supports that idea 🍎🥕).

From our sanctuary family to yours — Happy Easter! 💛🌷

Caught red-handed this morning… 😅

Apparently, being two minutes late filling the hay feeder is a serious offense according to Cocoa 🐑👀
The look I got could only mean one thing: “Do better, human.”

Don’t worry, Cocoa—your hay has been served, and I humbly accept my judgment 😂💛

Life at the sanctuary means answering to some very important (and very fluffy) supervisors.

Meet Red, our gentle giant, now in his mid-thirties ❤️
Red came to us after his owner suffered a medical crisis following a severe motor vehicle accident, and his world suddenly changed. But through it all, Red has remained the sweet, steady soul we all adore.
Now, he’s enjoying a slower pace of life—soaking up the sunshine, savoring his meals, and reminding us every day just how special our senior animals are. There’s something truly magical about a horse who has seen so much of life and still chooses kindness.
Animals like Red wouldn’t be here without your support. If you’re interested in donating, please visit our website to learn how you can help us continue our rescue efforts.
We feel so lucky to give Red the safe, loving home he deserves in his golden years 🐴✨

Our little mini roosters got a big upgrade! Their new habitat is officially complete, and they’ve moved into their new home. We’re so excited to give these tiny boys a safe, cozy, and comfortable space to strut, scratch, and settle in.
Every year after chick season at feed stores, we receive so many requests to take in unwanted roosters. What starts as cute little chicks often turns into a difficult situation when they begin to crow, and sadly, many end up needing new homes. We do our best to help as many as we can, and this new habitat means we’re able to give a few more of these boys a second chance.
Something many people don’t realize is that roosters can actually live together in bachelor flocks and often get along really well when properly introduced. Our little guys are settling in nicely together and enjoying their new space.
They may be small, but their personalities are huge—and they look pretty proud of their new digs!

🍀💚 Happy St. Patrick’s Day from Tommy the Goat! 💚🍀
Top o’ the mornin’ to ya! 🐐☘️
I’ve been practicing my best Irish jig (okay… it might just look like happy hopping 😄) and keeping an eye out for any hidden pots of gold around the ranch. So far, I’ve only found extra snacks… but I’m not complaining!
Wishing you a day full of luck, laughter, and maybe a few tasty treats—just like me! 🍀🥕
Stay shamrockin’,

🥧🐴 Happy (Almost) Pi Day from Buttercup!
Our sweet mini horse Buttercup is getting into the Pi Day spirit early! While everyone else may be thinking about 3.14, Buttercup is focused on something even better… snacks! Her enrichment feeder even looks a little like a pie, and she’s happily digging in.
Enrichment is such an important part of keeping our animals happy and engaged. It encourages natural behaviors, provides mental stimulation, and of course makes snack time a little more fun.
So this Pi Day, we’ll be celebrating with Buttercup and her “pie”! 🥧💛

🦷🐴 Dental Day at the Ranch!
Today was dental day for a few of our ponies, and we were so grateful to have our wonderful vet, Dr. Dickinson, out to take great care of them. Just like people, ponies need regular dental checkups to keep their teeth healthy and make sure they can eat comfortably.
Our little ones were absolute champs while Dr. Dickinson floated their teeth and made sure everything looked good. Keeping up with dental care is such an important part of helping our rescued equines live happy, healthy lives.
A big thank you to Dr. Dickinson for always taking such great care of our herd! 💙

Last week marks one year since we lost two very special goats, Booboo and Miso. 🐐❤️ They brought so much personality and joy to the ranch and are still deeply missed.
This week, one of our wonderful volunteers who loved them dearly surprised us with a visit and the most beautiful memorial plaques in their honor. It means so much to know they are still remembered and loved.
Booboo and Miso will always be part of our family. 💕

🤎🫏 A Sweet Moment at the Ranch
During our recent visit, our wonderful vet Dr. Dickinson shared the sweetest moment with our mini donkey Ellie May—an adorable hug that perfectly captures the love and care our animals receive.
Ellie May soaked up the attention like the little sweetheart she is. Moments like this remind us how lucky our rescued animals are to have compassionate people looking out for them every step of the way.
A big thank you to Dr. Dickinson for not only providing excellent care, but also for sharing so much kindness with our herd. 💕
