Sam is tucked away in that carrier. Unfortunately, he's not doing too well with his URI right now. We're changing medications and providing breathing treatments in hopes of getting this little guy feeling better soon. 💙🐾
This is what your donations support.
Not just the happy adoption photos and kitten cuddles you see online—but the medical cases, emergency vet visits, food, litter, spay/neuter surgeries, vaccinations, and everything in between.
Chrissy and I are fortunate to receive some small grants here and there (usually around $200 at a time), and we are incredibly grateful for every one of them. We also have some wonderful supporters who donate regularly. But to be completely transparent, it costs roughly $3,000 per month to operate the rescue.
That's why you see us fundraising so often.
We understand that not everyone can donate financially, and we never want anyone to feel pressured. There are so many other ways to help:

🐾 Help at PetSmart for an hour on Saturdays & Sundays
🐾 Assist with setup and breakdown at events
🐾 Foster a cat or kitten
🐾 Share our posts and help spread the word
Every share, every volunteer hour, every donation, and every kind word helps us continue this mission.
What many people don't see are the tears, the sleepless nights, the difficult decisions, and the heartbreak that sometimes comes with rescue work. There are moments that aren't pretty. There are times we have to say no because we simply don't have the space, funds, or resources to safely take in another cat.
Rescue isn't always rainbows, sunshine, and playful kittens. There is a hard side to it too.
But every life saved, every cat healed, and every happy adoption makes it worth it.
